Count your pills once every two weeks. This will prevent theft and ensure that medications are taken properly.

Lock It!

Lock up your medications and store them in a place that others would not think to look. Contact us to receive a free lockbox!

Drop It!

Drop off unused/expired medications for proper disposal at your participating law enforcement departments.

Drug Drop Boxes

There are three Prescription Drop Boxes available for people to bring their unused, expired, and unwanted medicines (prescription, over-the-counter, and vitamins).

  • Dickson Police Department – 202 Main St., Dickson
  • Dickson County Sheriffs Office – 140 County Jail Road, Charlotte
  • White Bluff City Hall – 52 Graham Street, White Bluff
  • Burns Police Department– 2715 Church St, Burns

Drug Take Backs

Drug Take Backs are held in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Agency twice a year in the Spring and the Fall. Individuals can bring their unused, expired, and unwanted medicines-prescription, over the counter, and vitamins to the Take Back site, no questions asked. There is generally a shred truck and recycling bins available also.
